New DOI Registration Agency appointed

The IDF is pleased to announce that with effect from 12 July 2011, Airiti Incorporated has been appointed as a DOI Registration Agency, with a focus on assigning DOI names to Traditional Chinese materials. Airiti was founded in Taipei in 2000. With a staff of over 200, Airiti has offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Starting as the Art Image Indexing Service, Airiti has gradually developed into a dominant aggregator of digital contents in Traditional Chinese. Its mission is to accelerate the spread and understanding of Chinese art, literature, culture and knowledge among people around the world. Airiti serves thousands of academic organizations and hundreds of thousands of researchers worldwide.
